The symposium convenes researchers, community-based leaders and organizations, students, and representatives across sectors to discuss local community-prioritized health issues and solutions. Together, we will explore lessons learned from grassroots efforts to further the health of our local communities, as well as learn about innovative strategies local scholars and community-based organizations are implementing to advance their work across sectors. In the afternoon before the concert, the artists offer a series of workshops on klezmer music for students and community members at the Granoff Music Center.
